Who we are

LaunchLoop is operated by the LaunchLoop team, a small team that operates remotely and serves people starting businesses in the United States. For privacy questions our contact is hello@launchloopio.com.

Information you give us directly

When you build a plan we collect the 4 inputs you provide in the /start form: business type, starting budget, city, and experience level. If you choose 'Save my plan', we collect your email so we can send you the PDF, and we store the generated plan.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site we collect basic technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this for security, analytics, and product improvement. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.

How we use your information

We use the data above to: (1) generate your launch plan; (2) maintain and secure the service; (3) email you ONLY when you opt in; (4) measure aggregate product usage so we can improve prompts, guides, and UX; (5) comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with (subprocessors)

We never sell your personal information. We share the minimum necessary with vetted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Our backend infrastructure provider — hosts the database, authentication, and edge functions powering your plan and account.
• Our AI provider — generates plan text from the inputs you submit. Inputs are sent per-request and are not used to train third-party models.
• Email delivery provider — sends transactional emails (plan recap, account emails).
• Privacy-respecting analytics — aggregate page-view and conversion counts, no cross-site profiles.

Cookies

We use a small set of cookies and local storage entries: strictly necessary (authentication session, saved plan cache), preferences (your last viewed plan and form draft), and anonymous analytics. Clearing cookies will sign you out.

How long we keep your data

Saved plans tied to an account are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Account records are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion request for fraud reasons. Anonymous analytics are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

Wherever you live you can email hello@launchloopio.com to request: access, a machine-readable copy, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. We respond within 7 business days and at the latest within 30 days.

Children

LaunchLoop is intended for adults launching a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Authentication uses industry-standard tokens. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of staff under least-privilege.

Product recommendations and affiliate links

Some outbound links to third-party tools are affiliate (partner) links. If you click one and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking a partner link may place a cookie from that merchant or its affiliate network on your device — that cookie is set by the merchant/network, not by us, and only after you deliberately click the link. We never set affiliate cookies just because you viewed a page. Recommendations are chosen on fit for a first-time local operator; a commission never changes a ranking, score or piece of advice.
