LaunchLoop is free. Here is how we pay for it.
LaunchLoop never charges you anything. Part of how we cover our costs is affiliate (partner) links: when we recommend a tool a new local business genuinely needs — insurance, payments, bookkeeping, an LLC filing service — that link may be a partner link, and we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy. It costs you nothing extra. This page explains the rules we hold ourselves to.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is an ordinary link to a merchant's own website with a tracking parameter attached, so the merchant knows the visit came from us. You go straight to the merchant. We do not cloak, redirect, frame or disguise where a link goes, and we never use a merchant's brand name in our domain, page titles or social handles.
How we label them
Any block that contains a partner link carries a visible disclosure next to it, and links are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page code. If a recommendation is not a partner link, we do not label it as one.
What a commission never buys
A commission cannot buy a recommendation, a ranking, a score, a higher position in a list, or a kinder review. Our tool picks are driven by fit for a first-time solo operator and by our published methodology. Many of the tools we recommend pay us nothing at all, and we recommend free options wherever a free option is the right answer.
No incentives, no coupons, no paid search on brand terms
We do not run cashback, points, incentive or coupon schemes. We do not bid on merchant trademarks in paid search, we do not run any browser extension or downloadable software, and we do not place affiliate links inside our embeddable widgets, our public dataset, our API or our AI/MCP endpoints.
Real clicks only
Links are only followed when you deliberately click them. Nothing on LaunchLoop auto-clicks, pre-fetches, auto-redirects, or opens pop-ups and pop-unders to a merchant, and no affiliate cookie is placed just because you looked at a page.
Estimates, not promises
Prices and plan tiers shown next to a tool come from the merchant and can change at any time — always confirm on the merchant's own page before buying. Income and cost figures across LaunchLoop are modelled estimates, not guarantees.
How to avoid partner links entirely
Type the tool's name into your browser and go to its site directly, or block third-party cookies. You lose nothing: every piece of guidance, data and calculation on LaunchLoop stays free and unchanged either way.
